0.5 mg of betamethasone (in the form of betamethasone dipropionate) and 30 mg of salicylic acid.
Excipients: liquid paraffin, soft white paraffin.
Properties: The effect of the drug is due to its constituent components;
Betamethasone is a highly active synthetic fluorinated corticosteroid that has antiinflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictor effects. The duration of action of betamethasone allows you to apply the ointment 2 times a day.
Salicylic acid has an antimicrobial effect, due to its keratolytic properties it makes the underlying layers of the epidermis more accessible to betamethasone dipropionate and increases its absorption.
Indications: Uninfected subacute and chronic hyperkeratic and dry dermatoses sensitive to corticosteroid therapy, such as psoriasis, chronic atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis (lichen planus chronica), lichen planus, eczema (including coin eczema, hand eczema, eczematous dermatitis), dyshidrosis, seborrheic dermatitis scalp, ichthyosis and other ichthyosis lesions.
