formation: Each 5 ml contains:
Ebastine 5 mg
Additional components: Glycerin, propylene glycol, purified water, methyl hydroxybenzoate, sucrose, strawberry flavor, sorbitol 70%.
Properties: Histamine H1 receptor blocker from the group of piperidine derivatives. It has an anti-allergic effect. It is characterized by a prolonged action (up to 48 hours), which is due to the formation of active metabolites. Unlike many blockers of histamine H1 receptors, Ebastine practically does not have anticholinergic activity, it also poorly penetrates the central nervous system and does not have a pronounced sedative effect.
Indications: Allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, urticaria.
Dosage and method of use: Children 6 to 11 years of age: 5 mg (2.5 ml) daily.
Children 2 to 5 years of age: The recommended dose is 2.5 mg.
Adults: The average dose is 10 mg per day.
Take before or after meals.
Contraindications: Pregnancy, lactation, hypersensitivity to piperidine derivatives.
Preventive measures: Use with caution in patients with impaired liver and kidney function (in these cases, the T1 / 2 of Ebastine increases significantly).
Influence on ability to drive vehicles and machinery
At therapeutic doses it does not affect the ability to drive a vehicle and control mechanisms.
Side effects: Possible: headache, dry mouth, drowsiness.
Rare: Abdominal pain, dyspepsia, nausea, asthenic syndrome, drowsiness, insomnia, rhinitis, sinusitis.
Storage method: Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
