1- First-degree burns, in which pain and rapid drying are greatly relieved, such as sunburn.

2- Second degree burns, superficial and deep. When properly applied, skin grafting is NOT required and regeneration occurs from the hair follicles and glands of the dermis and mucosa: the outer tissues.

3 — Third degree burns to isolate the wound, reduce pain, and expedite non-surgical debridement of necrotic tissue in preparation for grafting.

4- To reduce pain, control infection and promote healing (reported at a median of 7 days).

5- Chronic wounds including bedsores, diabetic foot and leg ulcers.

6. After laser resurfacing, chemical peeling and dermabrazron.

7- Surgical wounds, obstetric wounds.

Each gram of ointment contains:

B sitosterol 0.25%

Auxiliary components:

The base of the ointment consists of sesame oil and beeswax. In addition, MEBO includes 18 amino acids, 4 essential fatty acids, vitamins and polysaccharides in its formula.

Properties:

1- Providing optimal physiological hydration necessary for skin regeneration.

2- Anti-inflammatory effect, reduction of edema and erythema.

3- Creation of conditions unfavorable for colonization by bacteria and fungi.

4- Isolation and protection of exposed and damaged nerve endings, thus providing an analgesic effect.

5- Ensuring local nutrition of the cells of the wound bed.

6- Liquefaction of necrotic tissue.

7. Elimination and protection of the wound bed from environmental factors, but at the same time maintaining drainage and gas exchange.

8- Reducing the loss of biological fluids from damaged skin (burns).

9- Absorption of excess heat in acute burn wounds.

10- Acceleration of epithelialization.

Indications:

Dosage and administration:

On average, they are used 2-4 times a day, depending on the severity of the skin lesion.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Precautionary measures:

MEBO ointment may change its appearance during storage, especially during the hot season, but it does not lose its effectiveness.

Side effects:

No side effects of the product have yet been reported, with the exception of rare allergic reactions to sesame oil.

Storage method:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 degrees.
