* Compound:
Each 5 ml syrup contains:
Aqueous extract of guava leaves and flowers (4:1) 0.125 g
(Standardized to contain 0.1% flavones)
Linden flower extract (8:1) 0.015 g
(Standardized to contain 5% flavones).
* Properties:
Guava contains 5 times more vitamin C than oranges. It has anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties.
Linden flowers have antimicrobial and antiseptic properties.
Indications:
Dietary supplement for relief of cough symptoms.
Dosage and administration:
Adults: 1-2 teaspoons 3-4 times a day
Children (over 4 years old): 1/2 - 1 teaspoon 3-4 times a day.
* Contraindications:
Children's age up to 4 years
Age over 65 years
Pregnancy and lactation
Diseases of the liver or kidneys
Patients taking metronidazole or disulfuram, cephalosporins.
* Precautionary measures:
— High doses may cause diarrhea due to the presence of sorbitol in the composition.
— Do not use in uncontrolled diabetes mellitus
— Keep out of the reach of children
* Side effects:
Allergic reactions, diarrhea, abdominal pain
* Storage method:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees.
